Guys, there’s a new Tony Hawk game coming out… and it’s a mobile game…

When I started hearing that Activision were working on a new Tony Hawk game, I got super exited, it could be Activision’s chance to bring Tony Hawk back to it’s glory days! Close to it anyway!

I’m thinking of starting game reviews again.

Tue, Feb 25th, 2014

Yes, this was my “Announcement”, but why? I hear you ask, well, recently, as I’ve been writing my retro diary and my retro pick-ups articles, I’ve been thinking to myself, “Who cares about these?”, but then I remembered gaming channels such as the all gen gamers channels, they all do game pick-up videos, who cares about them? Then I realised something, people care about them because they make game reviews, they make entertaining videos, videos people enjoy.

Me? I just document what I’ve played, and I have a fairly boring life, especially nowadays where I have college work taking up most of my time…

Soul Calibur [DC] – Gameplay

Tue, Feb 25th, 2014

It’s another thing I had made/recorded a while ago, I remember having a specific reason for recording this, but right now, I can’t for the life of me remember what it is!
It was around the same time as I got the Dreamcast VGA cable, but the device I used to capture this only accepted AV Composite, so I don’t know why on earth I recorded this!

Oh well, here is the video anyway!

What’s that? It’s Dailymotion!? Well spotted! I decided to move to dailymotion and use that channel/account as my main one, I’ll still upload to my Youtube from time to time, but I’m getting sick and tired of Google constantly sh*tting on us! I wanted to move to Daily Motion for years, but nobody had been using it! Now, though, a few channels I follow have moved to daily motion (mainly, Classic Game Room), so I think it’s safer to move now, though again, I’ll still be using my Youtube to upload the occasional video, but I won’t be using it nearly as much as before, and that’s saying a lot!

Retro Pick-Ups – 25/02/13

Tue, Feb 25th, 2014

Right, after this post, I have an announcement thing coming up, so stay tuned, assuming you tuned in in the first place!

Yet again, I was at CEX yesterday, and I found some games I’ve been looking out for, at decent prices, which made me happy, let’s get right to it…

I just found this old photo I took of Broken Sword 4

Tue, Feb 25th, 2014

I just found this old photo I took of Broken Sword 4

I took this photo ages ago, because I found an MP3 player I found in the game was a spitting image of an old MP3 player I have, so I took a photo to compare.

I was originally going to upload this to Facebook, back when I actually used it, but never did for some reason. I doubt I’d have any use for the photo, so I might as well upload it here.

There’s a retro pick-ups post on it’s way, as well as an announcement, stay tuned, whoever tuned in…

Retro Pick-Ups – 18/02/2014

Tue, Feb 18th, 2014

That’s right, I’m starting to give these articles titles dates, I just thought it might make sense to do so.

So anyway, after college, I was at CEX and G-Force as usual, but I was there for a reason, you see, I’ve made myself a wishlist (well, still am), of games I want in the future…

Amazon Wish-List - Page 1 of 18 (437 Items)

(…and I think it’s safe to say, I got a little carried away…)

…so I had a few games too look for, usually, these stores I go to have the games in mint condition and are cheaper than it is on Amazon, plus you know what you’re getting (You wouldn’t believe how many times I got a US version of a game from Amazon!). Besides, there’s nothing like the experience of buying a game in a store, am I right?

Retro Diary – 10/02/2014 – All about the PS2!

Sun, Feb 16th, 2014

Dear Diary,

Monday 3rd February 2014
I was at college, during break in the morning, my lecturer noticed my ZX Spectrum bag, and we started talking about the ZX Spectrum, he showed my his ZX Spectrum Emulator on his Iphone, and even showed me some games he bought for that emulator, and he showed me a game on it, I believe it was called “Attic Attack” or something. He then showed me a HTML5 browser emulator, and I thought that was awesome! Since then, during breaks, when I had done all I can with my games, I opened the emulator, and played some Spectrum games, I’ve been playing Manic Miner and Batter!
