Harvester [DOS] – DOSBox Video Capture Test

Sat, Jan 25th, 2014

I just found out that DOSBox had a video capture feature! So I decided to try it out on a game I recently got, Harvester!

I guess this is a good opportunity to talk about Harvester, isn’t it? I recently got the game from eBay, I’ve been searching for it for years, and finally a copy popped up! It wasn’t in the big box, but at that point, I’d take anything!

I think the game is great, aside from the bad graphics (even for it’s time), and a not-so-great combat system (You just hold the right mouse button the whole time…), I can’t find any major flaw with the game, it kept me playing for hours, just so I could find out just what was going on with Harvest, the town where the game is set. If you’re thinking of picking this up, pick it up, you won’t be disappointed!

I mainly got the game for it’s gore, and I got what I paid for! This game is really disturbing, but that was what drew me to this game, It’s strange, because I would never do anything of the sort in real life, just the idea of it disgusts me, but I love gory video games! Especially early to mid 90s adventures!

I’ve actually beaten this game, but after hearing that DOSBox had a record feature, I wanted to test it, and Harvester was the nearest game!

So anyway, you probably spent more time reading this, than you will watching the actual video, since it’s only 30 seconds, so I’ll just let you get to it…

Problem with my Wii U

Fri, Jan 24th, 2014

I made this video to show Nintendo that my Wii U does in fact, have a fault… One Day, My Wii U decided to stop playing Nintendo Land, so I sent it to Nintendo for repairs, they sent it back, claiming that no fault was found, so I decided to record proof that there IS a fault with my Wii U…

…but I thought, since I have the video uploaded, I might as well post it here and ask youse how I fix the problem myself… So how do I fix it?

Retro Pick-Ups: Psychonauts [PC] and Quantum Redshift [Xbox]

Wed, Jan 8th, 2014

So the January Sales have been going on, and stores like Amazon and Game have some awesome deals going on lately… too bad everything gets sold out and out of stock, I can’t get anything!

I’ve been seeing so many good deals going on, I saw Tekken 3D for the 3DS was the game website, brand new, for ¬£1.99! However, when I go to any Game store, and ask if they have the game, they never do! It’s the same for all of the special editions of Assassins Creed 4 on the Wii U! Yeah, a 3rd party game is actually selling on the Wii U…

Assassins Creed [PC] – Challenge Video (With fitting music)

Sun, Jan 5th, 2014

I couldn’t resist!

The music is the Challenge theme from the Toy Story 2 game.

I was playing through the 1st Assassins Creed for the PC, and every time I did one of these challenges, the Toy Story 2 Challenge music played in my head, I thought it fit well with these challenges!

So I recorded one of the challenges and add the music to Sony Vegas, and this is the end result, enjoy!

…I hope youse do, because the video totalled to 6.2GB! It took almost 4 hours to render, save and upload it!

Max Payne 3 [PC] – Glitches and Stuff

Thu, Jan 2nd, 2014

While I was playing through Max Payne 3, I managed to capture a few glitches, so i thought I’d throw them together, and upload it, enjoy!

I might more of these, I’ve already captured some Walking Dead videos.

By the way, I installed a Classic Max Payne mod, which gives the game a HD version of the original Max Payne, it looks stupid at times, but it’s awesome!
You can download the mod here!
