I was at out today to the “school run” with my mum, so I could get a haircut, and we had time to browse around the shops around the area, so I went into a shop called “Maplin”, which is a shop for buying cables and PC parts, to get a VGA cable and a couple of AV cables, all of them together costed £7 on eBay with free delivery, so I decided to check and see if I could get a better deal andnot have to wait for them to arrive…
A single AV cable costed £20… f*ck that! I did however see this game about making model railways, called “Create Your Own Model Railways Deluxe”, it came with an expansion pack, and was £4, I thought it was the kind of game I could get into, I remember when I was a wee kid, I got a few Thomas the Tank Engine sets, and I had fun making my own tracks, so I thought I’d enjoy this, so I got it, hoping it was cheaper than Amazon, and it was, it’s £7 on Amazon,.Booya!
I can’t show you it due to my crappy camera, but the best thing about the box, was on the back of the box, in the System Requirements, it says “Internet: Not Required”, it’s so good reading that on a new game in today’s world!
After that, I went into Game, and saw some amazing deals, such as Xenoblade Chronicles for £15! I would’ve nabbed it, but I didn’t have £15 to spend… but I found Wii Play for 99p, so I went for that! When I bought it, me and the person serving me were talking about Mario Kart 8, and we were talking about how amazing it looked, and he said Game were doing a deal on Mario Kart 8, it was £5 off a pre-order. I’m not sure whether or not he just mentioned Mario Kart 8 just to mention the deal, but I thought it was worth noting here anyway.
So yeah, I’ve played Wii Play, and it’s as fun as I remembered it! Next time somebody ever comes over to my house, I’ll be looking forward to playing that with them. I’m installing Model Railway Deluxe right now, so I don’t have much to say at this moment.
So yeah, that’s what I picked up today, I thought that was worth noting what happened today. So yeah, I don’t know how to conclude this properly… so bye, I guess…
